Since all these appeals arise out of separate but similar
judgments and decrees passed by the learned Senior Civil Judge,
Gadwal (hereinafter referred to as the “Reference Court”) in
L.A.O.P. Nos. 23, 24, 25 and 26 of 2012, and involve common
questions relating to determination of market value and
enhancement of compensation in respect of lands acquired under
the same acquisition proceedings under Section 4 (1) of the dated
06.09.2008 issued under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, they
were heard together and are being disposed of by this common
judgment.
2. By the impugned judgments, the Reference Court enhanced
the compensation awarded by the Land Acquisition Officer-cum-
Special Deputy Collector, Jawahar Lift Irrigation Project, Gadwal
(for short, “the LAO”), in respect of the acquired lands situated in
Garlapadu Village, Dharoor Mandal, Gadwal District. Aggrieved by
the enhancement of compensation and the consequential grant of
statutory benefits, the State has preferred the present appeals
under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
