Present Mr.L.Shashibhushan, learned senior counsel
assisted by Ms.Liya, on behalf of Election Petitioner in Election
Petition No.28 of 2022. Also present Mr.A.Mohendro, learned
counsel for the sole respondent.

Mr.A.Mohendro, learned counsel for sole respondent
(retuned candidate) draws attention of this Court to the fact that
another Election Petition i.e. Election Petition No.3 of 2022 filed by
one of the defeated candidates against the returned candidate
(present sole respondent) is listed today, i.e. 18.4.2026 before Court
No.2 as item Nos.21 to 26 in supplementary – I, [Coram: Hon’ble
Mr.Justice Ahanthem Bimol Singh].

Mr.Mohendro, learned counsel for the sole respondent
refers to sub-clause (2) of Section 86 of the Representation of the
People Act, 1951 that if more than one election petitions are
presented, the same shall be referred for trial to the same Judge
who may, in his discretion, try them separately or in one or more
groups. Learned counsel submits that matters require to be listed
before the same Judge.

In the circumstance, Registry is directed to place this
matter before the Hon’ble Chief Justice on administrative side for
passing appropriate order for listing.
