01. Impugned in this petition filed by the Union Territory of
J&K and Ors under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is an
order and judgment dated 15th May, 2025 passed by the Central
Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Srinagar Bench, [“the Tribunal”]
in OA No. 1515/2021 titled “Abdul Razaq Lone and Ors. Vs.
Union Territory of J&K and Ors.”, whereby the Tribunal has
issued a direction to the petitioners herein to consider the case of
the respondents for release of their retiral benefits in accordance
with the applicable Rules, particularly in the light of order dated
27th September, 2023, passed in OA No. 592/2023 titled “Mehraj-
Ud-Din and Ors. Vs. Union Territory of J&K and Ors.” provided
the respondents are similarly situated and there is no legal
impediment.
