    The applicant in O.A.(EKM) No.1828 of 2020 on the file of

    the Kerala Administrative Tribunal, Additional Bench at Ernakulam

    (the ‘Tribunal’ for short), filed this original petition invoking the

    supervisory jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the

    Constitution of India, challenging Ext.P7 order dated 27.03.2026

    passed by the Tribunal in that original application.

    2. Going by the averments in the original application, the

    petitioner voluntarily retired from service from Government High

    School, Alanallur on 30.10.2018 as Physical Education Teacher.

    The DCRG was sanctioned to the petitioner as per Annexure A1

    order dated 24.04.2019. By Annexure A2 communication dated

    12.06.2019, the last pay certificate of the petitioner was

    forwarded to the Sub-Treasury. Though the petitioner is getting

    pension, the DCRG has been unnecessarily withheld for want of

    Non-Liability Certificate. For the last 3 years, the DCRG has not

    been released. The respondents are personally liable for the same

    and liable to pay interest for the delayed payment of DCRG. With

    these pleadings, the petitioner filed O.A.(EKM) No.1828 of 2020

    under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985,

    seeking the following reliefs;
