The present government appeal has been preferred against the judgment and order of acquittal dated 11.11.2024 passed by the Special Judge (POCSO Act) / Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 14, Sitapur, in Special Sessions Trial No. 35 of 2016 (arising out of Case Crime No. 02 of 2016), under Sections 376, 323, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, Police Station Sandana, District Sitapur.
