About Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2026

The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, designed to strengthen the bridge between formal education and industry-level professional exposure.

Conceptualised under the Union Budget 2024-25 and operationalised through a structured portal, the scheme trains youth in practical work environments across leading corporate, public sector, and regulatory organisations.

Its core objective is to enhance employability, promote industry-ready skill development, and integrate academic learning with real-world business, governance, regulatory, and compliance functions.
