    1. Leave granted.

    2. The appellants challenge the judgment/order dated

    18.02.2026 in Application U/s 528 BNS No.28385/2025 along

with Application U/s 528 BNS No.26149/2025 passed by the

High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, whereby the

appellants’ applications seeking quashing of the

proceedings arising out of Crime Case (FIR) No.24 of 2024

of Ahraura Police Station, Mirzapur District, Uttar

Pradesh, for the offences punishable under Sections 419,

    420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code

    were dismissed.

    3. Learned counsel for the parties submit that an

affidavit of compromise dated 01.08.2026 has been filed,

but the same is not on record. A copy thereof has been

handed over across the Bar. We have perused the same.

    4. The contents thereof read as under:

    5. Continuation of proceedings would
    serve no useful purpose.

be an abuse of the process of law. In view of the same,

Crime Case (FIR) No.24 of 2024 of Ahraura Police Station,
