    July 1, 2024 – August 1, 2024

I applied for the internship through my college’s placement cell, which facilitated the process and connected me with the Kridey Foundation.

On the first day, I attended an online orientation session that introduced us to the internship. The online infrastructure was well-managed. My first impression was highly positive, with a welcoming and organized environment.

During my internship, I undertook various assignments that challenged me to think critically and conduct in-depth research. These included:

Writing Intensive and Extensive Legal Reports:

    • Relevance of Cyber Laws in 2024: Conducted comprehensive research and analysis on current cyber laws and their applicability in 2024.
    • Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023: Drafted an extensive report on this new legislation, enhancing my legal research and drafting skills.

    Article and Blog Writing:

    • Cyber Security in India: Explored the current state of cyber security in India, identified challenges, and suggested potential solutions.
    • How to Tackle Discrimination at the Workplace: Focused on identifying various forms of workplace discrimination and proposing effective strategies to address them.

    Case Commentary and Newsletter:

    • Madhusudan Pandey v. The State of Madhya Pradesh: Analyzed and commented on this case, enhancing my analytical and presentation skills.
    • Muslim Women’s Right to Maintenance under CrPC: Wrote a newsletter on this landmark judgment, improving my ability to convey complex legal information accurately.

Social Work and Community Welfare Activities:

    • Fundraising for the Welfare of Underprivileged Sections: Engaged in fundraising activities, instilling values of empathy, responsibility, and social consciousness.
    • Planting Trees in My Locality: Participated in tree plantation activities, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.

The internship was conducted in online mode; therefore, it was comfortable to work from home. The internship tasks primarily involved research and legal writing, which were easily manageable through a laptop.

The positive work culture, combined with a reasonable work-life balance, contributed to an overall satisfying experience.

    No bad things as such.

    This was an unpaid internship.

As the internship was through online mode, I was able to work from the comfort of my home.
