haal hee mein, Union Cabinet ne Government of India aur the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) ke beech Headquarters Agreement (HQA)kee pushti ke lie apni manjooree de dee hai.
Jante hai ki CDRI kya hai?
CDRI national governments, United Nations agencies, multilateral development banks, private sector, and academic aur knowledge institutions ki ek global partnership hai jo climate and disaster risks ke lie infrastructure systems kee lacheelepan ko badhaava dene par kaam krti hai.
CDRI ka udeshya kya hai?
resilient infrastructure ke lie developing policies, standards, guidelines, aur best practices mein deshon ka samarthan krke sustainable development sunishchit krna.
Iske members kon kon se hai:
o isakee sthaapana ke baad se, 31 desh, 6 antarraashtreey sangathan aur 2 nijee kshetr ke sangathan sadasy ke roop mein CDRI mein shaamil ho gae hain.
o 6 antarraashtreey sangathan: Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank Group, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), European Union, European Investment Bank
mukhyaalay ko anumodit krne ke laabh:
o mukhyaalay ko anumodit karane se UN (Privileges & Immunities) Act, 1947 ke section 3 ke tahat CDRI ko exemptions, immunities aur privileges pradaan krne mein suvidha hogi.
o yah CDRI ko ek antararaashtreey sangathan ke roop mein prabhaavee dhang se kaam karane aur apane uddeshyon ko aage badhaane mein any international entities ke saath sahayog krne mein saksham banaega.
o isase CDRI ke founding member and host country desh ke roop mein bhaarat kee credibility and visibility bhee badhegee.
CDRI ka bharat ke lie kya mahatav hai:
o CDRI bhaarat ko climate Action aur Disaster Resilience mein ek vaishvik neta ke roop mein ubhrne ke lie ek manch pradaan karata hai.
o yah bhaarat kee soft power ko badhaava deta hai, lekin adhik mahatvapoorn baat yah hai ki isaka keval arthashaastr se kaheen adhik vyaapak arth hai, jaise disaster risk reduction, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate accords ke beech taalamel.
CDRI ke intiatives konse hai?
Infrastructure for Resilient Island States (IRIS) :
bhaarat ne CDRI ke ek bhaag ke roop mein is pahal kee shuruaat kee, jo vishesh roop se Small Island Developing States or SIDS mein building capacity aur pilot projects pr dhyan kendrit karegi.
Infrastructure Resilience Accelerator Fund
Resilience Accelerator Fund United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) dono dvaara samarthit ek fund hai.
o yah ek trust fund hai jise UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (UN MPTFO) dvaara prabandhit kiya jaega taaki developing countries aur SIDS par vishesh dhyaan dene ke saath aapadaon ka saamana karane ke lie buniyaadee dhaanche pranaaliyon kee kshamata mein sudhaar karane mein madad mil sake.
