    About the Journal

    The ICREP Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (ISSN: 2583-8237) is an open-access, peer-reviewed quarterly journal published by the Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols (ICREP). The journal aims to provide an academic platform for scholarly discourse on contemporary issues at the intersection of law, science, technology, and ethics.

    The Editorial Board invites submissions for Volume 5, Issue II from academicians and researchers working in interdisciplinary areas.

    Theme

    The journal accepts papers on any interdisciplinary area having an interlinkage between law, science, technology, and ethics.

    Eligibility

    Submissions are invited from academicians and researchers.

    Submission Categories

    The journal invites well-researched, original manuscripts within the prescribed word limit.

    Submission Guidelines

    • The manuscript should be original and interdisciplinary in nature.
    • Word limit: 4,000–8,000 words.
    • The paper must include:
      • An abstract of not less than 250 words;
      • At least five keywords;
      • An introduction and conclusion with suggestions.
    • Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of two authors.
    • The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
    • A cover letter mentioning the author’s name, designation, and email address must accompany the submission.
    • Authors should also mention their name, designation, email ID, contact number, and title of the paper in the submission email.
    • The first page of the manuscript should contain:
      • Title of the paper;
      • Full name of the author(s);
      • Name of the affiliated institution/organisation/university;
      • Educational qualification;
      • Email address and contact number.

    Formatting Guidelines

    • Font: Times New Roman
    • Font Size: 14 (Headings), 12 (Body), 10 (Footnotes)
    • Line Spacing: 1.5
    • Margins: Left – 1.5 inch; Right – 1 inch; Top – 1 inch; Bottom – 1 inch
    • Subheadings: Times New Roman, 12 pt, left-aligned
    • Citation Style: Bluebook (20th Edition)

    Plagiarism and Publication Policy

    • A plagiarism report must be submitted along with the manuscript.
    • Papers with more than 10% similarity will be rejected.
    • The journal notification states that the use of ChatGPT or other AI tools in manuscript preparation is prohibited and that manuscripts found in violation are liable to rejection. It also mentions that a maximum AI-generated content limit of 30% is permissible.
    • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all references and acknowledgements.
    • A declaration confirming that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere must accompany the submission.
    • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review and are subject to the final decision of the Editorial Board.
    • Copyright of accepted manuscripts shall vest exclusively with the Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols.
