    About the Programme

    The 2nd Edition 15-Day Online Capacity Building Programme/FDP-2026 on “Forensic Sciences: An Interdisciplinary Interface with Law, Social Sciences, and Allied Disciplines” aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role of forensic sciences in strengthening justice delivery, public policy, and safeguarding human rights.

    The programme will explore contemporary intersections under India’s new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS, and BSA), alongside advanced digital and behavioral dimensions.

    Eligibility

    The capacity-building program is open to:

    • Faculty members and academicians.
    • Research scholars, postgraduate, and undergraduate students from law, criminology, psychology, sociology, political science, public administration, social work, journalism, management, and forensic sciences.
    • Professionals, including judicial officers, advocates, police personnel, forensic experts, and policymakers.

    Programme Details

    • Mode: Online (Zoom/Webex)
    • Dates: August 3–19, 2026
    • Timing: One session daily (90-minute lecture followed by a 30-minute Q&A session)

    Registration Fee

    • Program Attendance: No registration fee.
    • Certification Fee: ₹600 (only for participants who wish to obtain an official certificate).

    Assessment & Certification

    • Certificates will be awarded based on the Final Test scheduled for August 21, 2026.
    • The online assessment will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) through Google Forms.
    • A minimum score of 50% and 75% attendance are mandatory to receive the certificate.

    Interested participants may register through the dedicated Google Form or by scanning the QR code provided in the brochure. Participants are also encouraged to join the official WhatsApp channel for schedule updates.
