Vitasta School of Law, established in 2011, is affiliated with the University of Kashmir and recognized by the Bar Council of India. About the Conference

Vitasta School of Law is pleased to announce LEX NOVA 2026, a National Conference on “Contemporary Challenges and Emerging Trends in Law”, to be held in Hybrid Mode on 5 September 2026.

The conference seeks to provide an intellectual platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, students, and other stakeholders to deliberate upon the rapidly evolving legal landscape. It aims to encourage meaningful academic discourse, interdisciplinary research, and innovative solutions to contemporary legal issues while fostering collaboration between academia, the Bar, the Bench, industry, and policymakers.

Who Can Submit?

The conference is open to students, educators, researchers, academicians, practitioners, policy- makers and other legal stakeholders.

How to Submit?

Authors may submit their abstracts and manuscripts through any one of the following methods:

Submission Categories

  • Research Papers/Articles (3,000–5,000 words)
  • Case Studies (2,000–3,000 words)
  • Policy Briefs (1,500–2,500 words)

Submission Guidelines

  • The submission must be original and unpublished.
  • Simultaneous submission elsewhere is not permitted.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in .docx format only.
  • Citation style: Bluebook (20th Edition)
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, Line Spacing 1.5
  • All submissions must be free from plagiarism, grammatical errors, and offensive content.
  • Manuscripts should not contain the author’s name or any identifying details to facilitate blind peer review.

Fee

  • Paper Presenters
    • Early Bird Registration
      Students: ₹300
      Research Scholars: ₹600
      Faculty & Others: ₹1,000
    • Regular Registration
      Students: ₹500
      Research Scholars: ₹750
      Faculty & Others: ₹1,200
  • Non-Presenters
    Participants attending the conference without presenting a paper may register by paying a nominal fee of ₹250.
