1. Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 452/2025 of PS Jamia Nagar for
offence under Section 376/506 IPC and 6 of POCSO Act on the ground that
complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with
the petitioner and they have now got married.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner on instructions seeks permission to
withdraw this petition with liberty to file afresh after rectifying the defects
pointed out by the other side.
3. Further, the learned counsel for petitioner shall also address as to
whether such case registered under POCSO Act can be quashed on
settlement, which would defeat the very purpose of the enactment.
