About the Organisation
The Imperial Institute of Legal Studies is an initiative dedicated to providing free legal education to all. We strongly believe that financial constraints should never act as a barrier to learning. With our tagline, “Simplifying Law. Empowering Legal Minds.”, we aim to make legal knowledge accessible, practical, and impactful for students across the country.
About the Speaker
Adv. Vaishnavi Parate is a legal professional and human rights activist, currently working as a Junior Legal Associate at Equilibrio Advisory LLP, focusing on POSH awareness, training, and compliance. She has also worked as a freelance Legal Researcher and as a Career Coach & Student Mentor on TopMate.
She holds a B.A. in Marathi Literature, LL.B., and LL.M. in Criminal Law, and is set to pursue a Ph.D. She has completed Train the Trainer certifications in POSH and POCSO.
With 4+ years of experience in legal research and content writing, she has conducted sessions on CV building, AIBE preparation, legal research, and gender-neutral laws.
