This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the detention
Order No.DCKTM/726/2026-H1 dated 17.02.2026 passed against
Abhijith.A. Nair, S/o.Anilkumar under Section 3 of the Kerala
Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007 (‘KAA(P) Act’ for
brevity). Petitioner herein is the father of the detenu. The detention
order stands confirmed by the Government vide order dated
31.03.2026, and the detenu has been ordered to be detained for a
period of 6 months from the date of detention. Thus, the present Writ
Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of Habeas
Corpus directing the 4th respondent to produce the detenu, who is
the son of the petitioner, before this Court and to set aside Exhibit
P2 detention order.
