Family law governs some of the most personal dimensions of human life, including marriage, divorce, maintenance, custody, and succession. This book seeks to bridge the gap between legal theory and practical understanding by offering clear, accessible, and analytically sound discussions on contemporary family law issues.

About the Call for Chapters

The Updated Law Society, in collaboration with Jayasree Publications, invites submissions from students, academicians, researchers, and legal professionals for this edited volume. The objective is to create a resource that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant.

Who Can Submit?

Submissions are invited from law students, academicians, legal researchers, practitioners, and professionals interested in family law and related areas.

Submission Categories

Book Chapters (Original and Unpublished Work)

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 1200–1500 words (excluding abstract and references)
  • Abstract: 150–200 words
  • Co-authorship is permitted
  • Citation Style: Uniform and consistent (preferably Bluebook/ILI style)
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished
  • Author details (Name, designation, affiliation, email) must be provided in a separate document
