Together with many indexes, the Journal is indexed at the largest database of peer-reviewed literature, Scopus. Since its founding in 2016, UBLR has maintained the highest editorial standards through a double-blind peer review process conducted by national and international scholars.

The comprehensive editorial process ensures scholarly excellence while maintaining accessibility for the global legal community. Such rigorous selection process ensures that only cutting-edge scholarship that illuminates law’s evolution in our interconnected world reaches publication.

All publications are exclusively in English.

  • be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Open Document Text document file format (Other formats such as PDF are not accepted);
  • be anonymised by removing from the document any identifying information;

Citation styles that rely on in-text references (e.g. APA, Harvard, Vancouver) are not acceptable;
  • refer to one of the following Editorial Sections and have an adequate length excluding metadata and footnotes (the Journal may consider manuscripts exceeding the 20,000 word limit in exceptional cases of outstanding scholarly contribution)
