    The above batch of appeals and writ petitions arise out of

    common facts and as they involve common questions of law,

    they are heard together and disposed of by this common

    judgment.

    2. W.A.No.2476/2015 and connected appeals arise out

    of learned Single Judge’s order dated 10.07.2015 in

    W.P.No.21216/2014 and connected writ petitions whereby writ

    petitions are allowed, striking down the Karnataka Private

    Aided Educational Institutions Employees (Regulation of Pay,

    Pension and Other Benefits) Act, 2014 (for short, ‘Act No. 7 of

    2014’), holding that the Act No.7 of 2014 is violative of Article

    14 of the Constitution of India and encroaches upon the

    jurisdictional powers of the Courts, with a further direction to

    the State to continue to pay salary or pension as the case may

    be, as was being paid pursuant to its earlier orders or in other
