    2. MACA No. 1179 of 2025 has been filed by the Insurance
    Company and MACA No. 1209 of 2025 has been filed by the
    Claimant challenging the judgment and order dated 06.08.2025
    passed by the learned 3rd Addl. District Judge -cum- 6th
    M.A.C.T., Berhampur in MAC Case No. 229 of 2024 directing
    the Insurance Company to pay an amount of Rs.3,75,000/-
    (Rupees three Lakhs Seventy Five thousand only) to the
    Claimant alongwith interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the
    date of filing i.e. 14.08.2024, till its realization within one month
    hence.

    3. In full and final settlement of the claim, it is now agreed
    between the Insurance Company (Appellant in MACA No. 1179
    of 2025 and Respondent No.2 in MACA No.1209 of 2025) and
    the Claimant (Respondent No.1 in MACA No. 1179 of 2025 and
    Appellant in MACA No. 1209 of 2025) that a modified
    consolidated amount of Rs.3,15,000/- (Rupees three lakhs fifteen
    thousand only) which includes interest, shall be paid by the
    Appellant-Insurance Company to the Respondent No.1- Claimant
    within a period of eight weeks in full and final settlement of the
    claims.

    4. The compromise memo signed by Mr. Adam Ali Khan,
    learned counsel for the Appellant-Insurance Company and Mr.
    Pradeep Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the Respondent No.1

    -Claimant is taken on record in MACA No. 1179 of 2025.

    5. It is therefore directed that the Appellant-Insurance
    Company (Appellant in MACA No. 1179 of 2025 and
    Respondent No.2 in MACA No.1209 of 2025) shall deposit the
    aforesaid consolidated amount of Rs.3,15,000/- (Rupees three

    lakhs fifteen thousand only) within a period of eight weeks from
    today before the Tribunal. The amount shall be
    apportioned/invested and/or disbursed as per the direction of the
    Tribunal.

    6. As the settlement is arrived at before the National Lok
    Adalat, no court fee shall be levied.

    7. On production of proof of deposit, the statutory amount
    shall be refunded to the Appellant- Insurance Company along
    with accrued interest, on proper application.

    8. The MACAs are accordingly disposed of.

    9. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper
    application.
