1. It is contended that false and frivolous FIR out of marital discord has been

registered against the petitioner at the instance of respondent No. 3, who
happens to be wife of the petitioner and prior to registration of FIR, she had
also filed an application under Protection of Women from Domestic
Violence Act against the petitioner and his father.
