2. The applicant is the accused No.2 in Crime
No.229/2026 of Cherpulassery Police Station, Palakkad
District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections
22(c) and 29(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Act, 1985 (for short, NDPS Act).
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
11.03.2026 at 14.40 hours, at a place called Kundanthodu,
Vellinezhi, the accused Nos.1 to 4 were found in possession of
120.76 grams of MDMA for the purpose of sale and thereby
committed the aforementioned offences.
