1. Feeling aggrieved by and dissatisfied with the
judgment and order of acquittal dated 10.07.2009, passed by
the learned Special Judge, Additional Sessions Judge, Main
Fast Track Court, Gondal Camp at Dhoraji in Sessions Case
No. 153/1996, for the offences punishable under Sections 306,
354, 506(2), 114 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3(1)(10) of
the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of
Atrocities) Act, the appellant – State of Gujarat has preferred
this appeal under Section 378 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure, 1973 (for short, “the Code”).
