01. In the instant petition, petitioner is seeking direction
upon respondents to accord consideration to the
representation submitted by the members of the
petitioner Union collectively on 13.06.2026, before
respondent No. 2, seeking withdrawal of the notices
issued to the members of the petitioner union levying
excessive water use/charges/Abiyana with further
direction to determine and fix the water usage
charges/Abiyana liability strictly in accordance with the
rates notified for industrial use of surface water under
the relevant orders of the Jammu and Kashmir Water
Resources Regulations and Management Act, 2010.
