1. These matters were referred to the Supreme Court
Mediation Centre at the request of the parties on 17.09.2025.
The parties have, under the aegis of the Mediation Centre,
resolved their dispute amicably and entered into a settlement
agreement dated 13.02.2026. A copy of the settlement
agreement, duly signed by the parties, their advocates, and
the learned Mediator, has been placed on record.
2. As per the settlement, petitioner No.1 (husband) has paid
a sum of Rs.5 lakhs to the respondent (wife) by way of demand
draft bearing No.528886 dated 12.03.2026 issued by State Bank
of India, as per Clause 5(A) of the Settlement Agreement. The
demand draft has been handed over to the respondent, who is
present in Court.
