    counsel is present on behalf of the respondent No. 6, as such, no further
    notice is required.

    The grievance of the writ petitioner is with the non-consideration by
    the University respondents for extension of time to complete her Ph.D. It is
    submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the delay has been
    caused by unavoidable circumstances, such as, illness and other factors such

    as not being able to obtain requisite data on time etc. She submits that inspite
    of a representation which was filed on 06-03-2026, the University
    respondents are yet to consider the same, and as such, is apprehensive that
    her Ph.D registration may be cancelled. She therefore prays that some
    interim protection be given at this stage.

    Mr. S.Sen, learned counsel for the University respondents No. 2-5,
    prays that he may be allowed to obtain instructions in the matter. Prayer is
    allowed.

    On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, in view of the
    circumstances, it is therefore provided that till the next date, no coercive
    action shall be taken against the writ petitioner with regard to the
    cancellation of her Ph.D. registration.

    List this matter on 28-04-2026.
