Heard Ms. R. Dutta, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the appellant,
who has submitted that this appeal has been preferred by the appellant, being
aggrieved and dissatisfied by the impugned judgment and order dated
08.06.2023 passed by the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), West
Garo Hills, Tura in Special POCSO Case No. 24 of 2021 under Section
9(m)/10 of the POCSO Act.
The learned Legal Aid Counsel has also submitted that there are
good grounds for preferring of this appeal and the same may be admitted.
Ms. A.D. Syiem, learned GA appearing on behalf of the State
respondent has no objection to the admission of this appeal.
On consideration of the submission made, this Court is convinced
that the appeal is required to be heard on merits. Accordingly, appeal is
admitted.
