    This is an appeal against the impugned judgment dated
    19.03.2025 and related order of sentence dated 26.03.2025 passed by the
    Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Khasi Hills District,
    Nongstoin in Special (POCSO) Case No. 24 of 2020, whereby, he was
    convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of
    20(twenty) years with fine of ₹ 1,25,000/- (Rupees one lakh, twenty-five
    thousand) only, and in default thereof, to undergo further simple of 6(six)
    months for an offence punishable under Section 3(b)/4 & 5(l)/6 & 7/8 &
    9(l)/10 of the POCSO Act.

    Mr. A. Siddique, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Ms. A.
    Surana, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the appellant has submitted that there
    are good grounds for preferring this appeal and the same may be admitted.
