01. The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition filed under
Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023,
seeks grant of bail in a case titled “UT of J&K Vs. Suram Singh & Ors.”,
which is pending before the court of learned Principal Sessions Judge,
Jammu, arising out of FIR No. 19/2020, registered at Police Station,
Gharota, Jammu, for the commission of offences punishable under
Sections 302/307/429/458/120-B/201 of IPC and Sections 3/25/27 of
Arms Act, 1959, having been unsuccessful in securing bail before the
court below.
