In this petition, the petitioner herein is seeking a direction to the
respondents 1 to 3 to place the indent for acquisition of the land measuring 2
kanals comprising of Khasra No.121 situated in Village Ambaran, Tehsil
Akhnoor, District Jammu within a period of one months; with a further direction
to respondents 4 and 5 to initiate the process of acquisition under the Right to
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 for acquisition of land detailed above.
Notice. Notice is waived by Mr. Sumant Sudan, learned counsel for
respondents 1 to 3 and by Ms. Chetna Manhas, learned counsel for respondents
4 and 5, who seek and are granted four weeks’ time for filing reply, with
advance copy to the learned counsel for the other side.
