1. The petitioners have challenged charge sheet emanating from

SPONSORED

FIR No. 152/2020 for offences under Sections 147, 354, 323

& 506 IPC registered with Police Station Shopian which is

pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class,

Shopian.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the

dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents is

purely of civil nature which has been given a criminal colour

by the private respondents by filing the impugned FIR. It has

been submitted that good sense has prevailed upon the parties

and now the petitioners and the private respondents have

entered into compromise whereby the private respondents

have agreed to compound the offences against the petitioners.

Copy of the compromise deed dated 04th April 2026 has been

placed on record.

3. Issue notice to the respondent.

4. Notice be sent to respondent No. 1 through Mr. Furqaan

Yaqoob, learned GA. Notice be sent to respondent No. 2 and

3 through concerned Police Station. The petitioners and

respondent No. 2 and 3 shall appear before this court on next

date of hearing for recording their statement in support of the

deed of compromise.

5. In the meantime, till next date of hearing, the proceedings in

the impugned charge sheet pending before the learned trial

court shall remain stayed.

6. List on 29.04.2026.
