About the Opportunity

EY is inviting applications for the position of Law – RRM – Advanced Analyst in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will join the Regulatory Research & Monitoring (RRM) team and work on legal and regulatory compliance projects involving multiple jurisdictions. The role offers exposure to legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance across diverse areas of law.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Hold a degree in Law.
  • Have 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Possess excellent legal research, writing, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, including strong grammar, punctuation, and legal drafting.
  • Be able to interpret and analyse statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Candidates with working knowledge of legal databases and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on compliance-related projects.
  • Interpret and analyse statutes, regulations, and case law across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare research findings in the prescribed format using appropriate legal writing standards.
  • Identify legal issues and determine the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client assignments while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and escalate project-specific issues where necessary.
  • Participate in mandatory training and professional development programmes.
  • Present legal research findings clearly and effectively in written formats.
