The Excise Inspector, R.M.V. Range, Bengaluru
City submitted charge sheet against accused for the
offences punishable under Section 14, 15, 32 and 43
of Karnataka Excise Act.
2. Prosecution Case: On 11-08-2022 at 6.30
am, in front of Government Hospital, Yeshwantpur
Market Road, within the limits of R M V Excise, the
accused was in illegal possession of 21 tetra packs of
Highward Punch Whiskey each measuring 90 ml
and 23 tetra packs of Original Choice Whiskey each
measuring 90 ml totaling to 3.96 liters of liquor in a
plastic bag without any license for the purpose of sale
to general public.
3. First Information Report: On the receipt of
credible information, CW6/PW2 namely Smt.
Premalatha.B.R., Excise Inspector conducted the
raid upon the accused, completed seizure formalities
and handed over the case papers to CW7 for further
investigation.
