                              ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Public Prosecutor representing the State of Kerala.

2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.206

of 2026 of Kalamassery Police Station. The offence alleged against

him is under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and

Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

3. The prosecution case is that, on 06.03.2026 at

about 5.40 pm, the petitioner was found in possession of 762 grams

of Hashish oil. He was arrested on the same day and remanded to

the judicial custody.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor, upon instructions,

submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents. Anyway,

the investigation in this case is almost over. There is no purpose to

be fulfilled by the continued detention of the petitioner in custody.

Having regard to the above facts and circumstances of the case, I

am of the view that the petitioner is entitled to be released on

regular bail, subject to strict conditions.

In the result, the application stands allowed as follows:

i. The petitioner is granted bail on his

executing a bond for Rs.1 Lakh (Rupees One Lakh only)

with two solvent sureties each for the like amount.

ii. The petitioner shall appear before the

Investigating Officer on every Monday in between 10 am

and 11 am for a period of three months from today or till

the final report is filed, whichever is earlier.

iii. The petitioner shall not involve in any

offence during the period of bail.

iv. The petitioner shall not try to influence or

intimidate the witnesses or to tamper evidence.

v. The petitioner shall not leave the State of

Kerala without getting prior permission from the

Jurisdictional Court.

vi. In the event of violation of any of the

above bail conditions, the Jurisdictional Court will be

empowered to cancel the bail without seeking any further

orders from this Court.
