1. The present petition has been preferred under Articles
226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the
nature of Certiorari for quashing the advertisement No.43 of 2024 dated
02.08.2024 (Annexure P-1) issued by respondent No.3 as well as the
subsequent proceedings including selection and appointment of
respondents No.4 to 126.
CONTENTIONS
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent
No.3-HPSC had issued the impugned advertisement No.43 of 2024
dated 02.08.2024 (Annexure P-1) notifying recruitment to 123 posts of
Assistant Professor (College Cadre) for Chemistry. The appointments to
the post of Assistant Professor are governed by the University Grants
