The fund follows a passive equity approach, tracking the BSE 500 Dividend Leaders 50 Index (Customised). It includes companies from large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap segments and reinvests dividends to support potential compounding over time.

The New Fund Offering (NFO) period runs from April 1 to April 19, at an initial NAV of ₹10 per unit, with the first NAV to be declared on April 20.

The fund can be accessed through Policybazaar and PNB MetLife’s digital platforms.

Key aspects of the fund:

  • Investments in the top 50 dividend-paying companies in the BSE 500 Dividend Leaders 50 Index
  • Focus on profitable companies with consistent cash flow
  • Reinvestment of dividends for long-term growth
  • Passive, rule-based investment strategy
  • Designed to provide a structured approach for retirement planning

Sanjay Kumar, Chief Investment Officer at PNB MetLife, said the fund aims to provide a systematic investment option for retirement, noting that India’s population over 60 is expected to exceed 230 million by 2036.

The plan also provides a life insurance component that offers a death benefit while premiums are maintained.
