1. This is a joint petition filed by the petitioners seeking quashment of FIR
No. 450/2022 dated 07.04.2022, registered for offences punishable under
Sections 498A, 323 and 109 of IPC.
2. Compromise deed is also on record.
3. Issue notice in the main petition as well as in connected application.
4. Notice is waived by Mr. Pawan Dev Singh, learned Dy. AG for the
respondent. Response, if any, be filed by or before the next date of hearing.
5. The petitioners shall appear before the learned Registrar Judicial of this
Court who shall record their statements and same be placed on record.
6. List on 05.06.2026.
7. Meanwhile, subject to objections from the other side and till next date of
hearing before the Bench, the proceedings in the charge-sheet in case titled
“UT of Jammu and Kashmir v. Pardeep Gupta & Anr.” in respect of the
FIR No. 450/2022 dated 07.04.2022 pending before the learned Special
Mobile Magistrate, Passenger Tax, Jammu, shall remain stayed.
