    About the Opportunity

    Sagar Chandra & Associates is inviting individuals to apply for the position of a Paralegal – Trademark Prosecution.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Docket statutory deadlines and ensure timely filings/compliance across matters.
    • File and manage trademark, copyright, and design applications, including all pre- and post-filing formalities.
    • Coordinate with clients, associates, and Registry/IP Offices on filings, hearings, and follow-ups.
    • Support prosecution: Examination Reports, hearings, oppositions, rectifications, renewals, assignments, recordals, name/address changes.
    • Prepare and review POAs, affidavits, declarations, and statutory filing documents.
    • Maintain docketing systems and matter trackers.
    • Prepare client status reports, filing confirmations, and update emails.
    • Coordinate internally on deadlines and documentation.
    • Support foreign trademark filings and prosecution.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • PQE: 2-6 years
    • Prior experience with IP docketing systems.
    • ⁠Excellent organisational and deadline management skills.
    • ⁠Strong communication and coordination skills.
    • ⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
