About the Opportunity
Sagar Chandra & Associates is inviting individuals to apply for the position of a Paralegal – Trademark Prosecution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Docket statutory deadlines and ensure timely filings/compliance across matters.
- File and manage trademark, copyright, and design applications, including all pre- and post-filing formalities.
- Coordinate with clients, associates, and Registry/IP Offices on filings, hearings, and follow-ups.
- Support prosecution: Examination Reports, hearings, oppositions, rectifications, renewals, assignments, recordals, name/address changes.
- Prepare and review POAs, affidavits, declarations, and statutory filing documents.
- Maintain docketing systems and matter trackers.
- Prepare client status reports, filing confirmations, and update emails.
- Coordinate internally on deadlines and documentation.
- Support foreign trademark filings and prosecution.
Eligibility Criteria
- PQE: 2-6 years
- Prior experience with IP docketing systems.
- Excellent organisational and deadline management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
