    Judgment

    1. The present appeals have been filed under Section 173 of

    the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 against the judgment and award

    dated 30.11.2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal,

    Karauli (for short ‘Tribunal’), in MAC Case No.40/2018, whereby

    the claim petition filed by the claimants was partly allowed.

    2. A letter dated 17.07.2025 has been received from the

    learned Tribunal, informing that in Execution Case No.13/2021

    titled as ‘Babulal vs. Pappu‘, the parties have entered into a

    compromise before the National Lok Adalat held on 22.12.2024.

    The said compromise has been arrived at for a sum of

    Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Only), and the said amount has

    been paid by the owner of the vehicle, who is appellant in CMA

    No1810/2020, vide Cheque No.870817 dated 07.11.2024, and

    therefore, no amount of compensation remains due from the

    owner of the vehicle.

    3. Since the parties have entered into a compromise, nothing

    survives in these civil misc. appeals.

    4. Both the appeals are accordingly, dismissed.
