About the Online Certificate Course on Supreme Court and High Court Drafting

Courts do not decide cases based on how much law you know. They decide based on how effectively that law is presented on paper. The ability to draft strong pleadings is one of the most important skills for any litigator, yet it is rarely taught in law school.

To bridge this gap between theory and courtroom practice, LawMarg is launching a Certificate Course on Supreme Court and High Court Drafting designed to train participants in the structure, strategy and drafting of pleadings used in constitutional and appellate litigation.

This course focuses on practical court documents that litigators routinely prepare before the Supreme Court and High Courts. Participants will learn how these pleadings are structured, what strategic considerations guide them, and how arguments are translated into effective written submissions.

Over the course of 12 sessions, the course will cover the drafting of 18 important pleadings used in higher judiciary practice.

About the Internship Opportunities for Participants

Participants of this course will be eligible for internship opportunities at Actualis Legal and other firms on the panel. The screening and selection process will be conducted as per the respective firm’s recruitment procedure.

Internships will be awarded based on performance in the course. Evaluation for internships is just on the basis of assessment test. The Top performers in the assessment test will be recommended for internships.
