    About the Seminar

    International environmental law is an evolving field that continues to address emerging global environmental challenges, including climate change, transboundary environmental harm, environmental protection during armed conflicts, biodiversity conservation and the relationship between trade, investment and the environment.

    In light of the growing importance of debate and discussion in this specialised area of international law, the Indian Society of International Law is organising a one-day seminar on “Re-Imagining International Environmental Law” on Saturday, 29 August 2026. The seminar will discuss new facets and contemporary developments in international environmental law.

    Submission Guidelines

    • Abstract: Maximum 300 words with five keywords must be submitted by May 15, 2026.
    • Acceptance Notification: May 25, 2026.
    • Full Papers: 6000–7500 words must be submitted by July 15, 2026.
    • Authorship: Maximum two authors are allowed.
    • Submissions must be emailed to [email protected] with the subject as the name of the author(s) and the title of the paper, in MS Word format.
    • Citations must conform to ISIL Citation Style.
