1. By this petition, petitioner has alleged non-compliance/willful

SPONSORED

disobedience of order dated 12.03.2025 passed by this Court in case

titled “Nirmal Vs. UT of J & K & Ors.” bearing WP (C) No.

248/2024, whereby the writ petition (supra) has been disposed of

with the following directions:

“In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of
by directing the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu/Respondent
No. 2 herein to decide the application filed by the petitioner
for providing Fard Intikhab Jambandi, taking into
consideration the report dated 03.05.2024 submitted by the
Tehsildar, Bahu, Jammu. The entire exercise shall be
completed by the respondents within a period of thirty days
from the date a copy of this order is made available with
respondent No. 2.”

2. Compliance report stands filed by the respondents, wherein it is

stated that the claim of the petitioner for providing Fard Intikhab

Jamabandi has been examined by the respondents, however, since

the kind of soil of the land in question is recorded as Gair Mumkin

Khad, as such, Fard for such lands cannot be issued at this point of

time.

3. Ms. Chetna Manhas, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

respondents states that the claim of the petitioner has been

considered and rejected, which stands conveyed to him vide order

dated 09.02.2026.

4. In view of the above, proceedings in the instant contempt

petition are closed and rule, if any, framed against the

respondents, be discharged. However, liberty is granted to the

petitioner to approach this Court, if the cause survives, otherwise.
