    [1] Mr. Themchuiyo Kashung, learned counsel on record for

    appellant/National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Mr. M. Gunedhor,

    learned counsel on record for respondent No. 1 along with Ms. L. Ashapriya,

    learned counsel on record are before this Court (physical Court).

    [2] There is no representation for respondent Nos. 2 to 4 either in

    physical Court or on the Video Conferencing (VC) platform.

    [3] To be noted, captioned appeal is a statutory appeal by NIA under

    Section 21 of National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 assailing an order

    dated 24-11-2022 made by the ‘Court of Special Judge (NIA), Manipur’ (‘said

    NIA Court’ for the sake of convenience) wherein and whereby said NIA Court

    has discharged A-3, A-4 & A-5 and dropped charges as regards two

    provisions of law qua A-1. This ’24-11-2022 order’, which is under challenge,

    shall be referred to as ‘impugned order’ for the sake of convenience.

    [4] The impugned order was a common order qua A-1 and A-3 to

    A-5. A-1 is respondent No. 1 in captioned appeal before this Court and A-3

    to A-5 are respondent Nos. 2 to 4 respectively in captioned appeal before

    this Court.

    [5] Be that as it may, Mr. Themchuiyo Kashung, learned counsel on

    record for NIA, requests for an adjournment citing difficulty at his end though

    Mr. M. Gunedhor, learned counsel for respondent No. 1 is ready to advance

    arguments.

    [6] Owing to afore-referred adjournment request of NIA counsel and

    with the intention of giving opportunity to respondent Nos. 2 to 4 and learned

    counsel for respondent Nos. 2 to 4, let the matter stand over to 12-10-2026.
