This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS), seeking regular
bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.130/2026
of Palarivattom Police Station, Ernakulam District. The offences
alleged are punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(c) and 29 of the NDPS
Act.
3. The prosecution case is that on 16.02.2026 at about 06.33
am, the accused Nos.1 to 3 were travelling in a bus near Palarivattom
Flyover towards Vytilla, and were allegedly found in posession of
MDMA weighing 27.77 grams in a white plastic cover, along with 1.69
grams in a zip cover and 8.19 grams in another white plastic cover. It
is alleged that the accused conspired to transport the said contraband
item from Bangalore for financial gain.
