    [1] Present Mr. HS Paonam, learned sr. counsel assisted by Mr. S.
    Gunabanta, learned counsel for the petitioners; Mr. M. Devananda, learned Addl.
    AG assisted by Ms. N. Jyotsana, learned counsel & Mr. Tomclist, learned counsel
    on behalf of the State respondents; Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned sr. counsel
    assisted by Ms. Kh. Maria, learned counsel; Mr. I. Denning, learned counsel; Mr.
    Juno Rahman, learned counsel for some of the private respondents; and Ms.
    Monika, learned counsel on behalf of the MPSC.

    [2] On 23.07.2025, this Court directed the State respondents to
    submit their policy framework for deciding the inter se seniority list of the
    petitioners and the private respondents by way of additional affidavit and the
    same be filed on or before the next date with advance copy to the learned
    counsel for the parties.

    [3] Mr. M. Devananda, learned Addl. AG prays for 2(two) week’s time
    for taking instructions in this regard.

    [4] In WP(C) No. 407 of 2022, Mr. HS Paonam, learned sr. counsel
    for the petitioners; Mr. Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned sr. counsel; Mr. I. Denning,

    learned counsel; Mr. Juno Rahman, learned counsel for some of the private
    respondents; and Ms. Monika, learned counsel on behalf of the MPSC make a
    joint submission that the State Government may be directed to consider the case
    of the petitioners and private respondents for promotion to the next post,
    notwithstanding the pendency of the writ petition and existence of the earlier
    interim order. The learned Addl. AG prays for some time to take instructions to
    this oral prayer.
