This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘CrPC’), seeking to
SPONSORED
quash the proceedings against the petitioners in C.C. No. 497 of 2021
pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Alair.
2. The petitioners are arrayed as Accused Nos. 1 to 6 in the said
Calendar Case and are facing prosecution for the offences punishable
under Sections 447, 427, and 188 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal
Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘IPC’).
3. I have heard Mr.B.Vamshidhar Reddy, learned counsel for the
petitioners and Mr.Surepally Prashanth, learned Additional Public
Prosecutor, representing respondent No.1-State.
