1. The petitioners have filed these two petitions under Section 528 of
the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 [“BNSS”] (corresponding
to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 [“CrPC”])
seeking quashing of FIR No. 442/2015, dated 25.08.2015, registered at
Police Station Jafrabad, New Delhi, under Sections 324/506/34 of the
Indian Penal Code, 1860 [“IPC”] [subject matter of CRL.M.C.
4564/2026], as well as FIR No. 134/2012, dated 21.05.2012, registered at
Police Station Zafrabad, Delhi, under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian
