Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in Palasi P.S. Case No. 142
of 2024 dated 18.04.2024, registered for offences punishable
under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 302, 504 of
IPC.
3. The allegation is against 14 persons of assaulting
the family members of the informant. The father of the
informant passed away due to injury. Two other persons were
also injured. The informant has made allegation against 14
named persons.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. He has no
criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.11.2025.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State
has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the absence of specific allegation,
absence of criminal antecedent and period of custody, this Court
is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released
on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten
thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to
the satisfaction of the learned District and Additional
Sessions Judge-IV, Araria, in connection with Palasi
P.S. Case No. 142 of 2024.
8. It is made clear that any observation made
herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for
the purpose of adjudication of the present bail
application. Such observations shall not be construed
as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not
influence the trial or any other proceedings in any
manner.
