Heard Mr. A. K. Hannan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. S. Uddin,
learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. PP for the State.
This instant bail application has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the accused petitioner namely, Md. Rabbul
Islam @ Rabbul Islam, has prayed for bail in connection with Nagaon P.S. No.

399/2026 under Section 143 of BNS R/W Section 3/4/5/7 of Immoral Traffic
(Prevention) Act, 1956.
Pursuant to notice issued earlier, the learned APP has produced the case diary,
which disposes sufficient materials against the petitioner of having indulged in
immoral trafficking and also disposes that two victims were also recovered during the
raid carried out at the concerned hotel and the Investigating Officer is of the view that
the petitioner was engaged in the act encouraging prostitution.
