Mayer Brown advised Banco Santander and Bladex Inc., as arrangers, in connection with the acquisition financing provided to Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica, S.A. and its subsidiaries for the $1.418 billion acquisition of Panamanian bank Banco Banistmo from Colombia’s Grupo Cibest.
The New York-based team was led by Banking & Finance partner Juan Pablo Moreno and included partner Christophe Wassaf and associates Luis Schrader, María Parga, and Francisco Torres.
