1. By this petition, petitioner has alleged non-compliance/willful
disobedience of order dated 27.03.2019 passed by this Court in case
titled “Mandeep Singh Bijral Vs. State & Anr.” bearing OWP No.
480/2019, whereby the writ petition has been disposed of with the
following directions:
“In view of the submissions made, this writ petition is
disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the
representation, if any, filed by the petitioner within a period
of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order
with regard to retainership, in accordance with the rules and
regulations governing the field”
2. Statement of facts stands filed by Respondent No. 2, wherein it is
stated that in compliance to the order of this Court, petitioner was
requested telephonically as well as in writing by virtue of
communication dated 28.03.2023 to provide account details for
disbursement of retainership charges to the tune of Rs. 36,000/-,
which has been sanctioned by the competent authority.

3. Mr. Vivek Mattoo, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
respondents has produced copy of the communication dated
13.11.2024 before this Court, wherein it is reflected that Manager, J
& K Bank Ltd., Canal Road, Jammu has been asked by Member
Secretary, J&K PCC to transfer an amount of Rs. 36,000/- in the
petitioner’s account bearing Account No. 0406040100004543.
Copy of the communication (supra) is taken on record.
4. In view of the above, proceedings in the instant contempt
petition are closed and rule, if any, framed against the
respondents, be discharged.
